like hell i care

November 29, 2008

dewasalah.

nyepet-nyepetan is so 2007.

our journey, part one

November 20, 2008

dear, we should have a honeymoon. let’s go somewhere.

where?

neon treelet’s go underground, right beneath us. deep down inside there’s a cave of infinite end. a cave not filled of bats and foul creatures but of unworldly crystals, countless streams of rivers, and the only underground waterfall. beyond them, there’s an huge oasis in the middle of an even bigger desert. so vast that you’ll forget mountain was born here and their feet is our sky. the oasis is full aglow for every trees is a giant desk lamp without the electric cord. there are some giant mushroom-eating-giraffes and lions with wings and horn but they’re as tame as a canary bird. in the shore there’s a white wooden boat to carry us to a small hut in the middle of the water. there we’ll stay and sit and talk and laugh and sleep and making pancakes and playing UNO Stacko.

and watching cartoons?

and watching cartoons. just us. you and me.

let’s go.

Your arrow pierced me

Just an arrow
A small piece of wood with silver head
So thin that i didn’t feel anything at first

I stood still right in front of you
Pain began to settle
and the world began to blur

The last thing i saw
was your looming shadow,
your pitiful glance to me

The last thing i felt
was our warm tears,
of broken rules and setting fears

The last thing i did
was trying to smile
thanking you for killing
my most-hated part of life

May you remain immortal in my memory.
See you, Athena.

a good weekend

November 16, 2008

As usual, it’s a very difficult and exhausting week. I spent 3 night at the campus to do various assignments (i have 3-4 groups to keep up with) and playing Wii Tennis.

Well i guess the last point won’t give me any symphaties, eh? :p

Seriously, it has been an incredible time in my life. For the first time, my iPod’s calendar is looks full with appointment and to-do lists. Almost everyday, including weekend, filled with small blue dots. I know, it’s not as busy as it seems, but i used to live so peacefully with nothing to do and these new life feels so…

…nice. Hahaha. Just like my best friend used to told me, working is a way to distract your mind from stressful thoughts (exams? love life? don’t care hahaha). Moreover, the best side effect is every weekend feels like a vacation.

this weekend, without any things to do or smses to reply, suddenly i’m free. luckily, vina was kinda bored too so we decided to have some adventure with pandu and ian. first stop: blind cafe. yeah, the dark one.

blindcafe

the red dot is the waiter, in case you’re wondering. the food isn’t bad too

after having some sushi spree at the supermarket (7,500 for half a dozen? outrageous!) pandu, THE BEST DRIVER IN THE WORLD, took the driver’s seat and off we go “circling bandung” as vina said.

well, we did drive circling around. combine our almost-zero sense of navigation and bandung’s notorious one-way four-lane obscure-named road we had to take the tollroad just to go to the entry tollroad to bandung (anyone here used to pass Pasir Koja tollbooths?). We also explored bandung’s old face (with shops such as kembang jaya, anggun jaya, and other jayas) and intrigued with its night life (there’s a club called Sixth Sense near campus, but have you ever been to Karaoke Fantasi?). We lost again but even after we go back to the campus we’re not satisfied so we took our chances and got lost again. 1 am in the morning and someone suggest we should be going to jakarta as well but ultimately our worsening flu stops the saturday night stupidity.

Oh, today’s schedule? yup, another meeting :D

the destination

November 9, 2008

Finally i’ve decided the ultimate place that i have to visit in my remaining life.

No, not Paris (not bad though), New York (i want to watch a Broadway musical!) , Maldives (so i won’t have to watch Discovery Travel & Living every afternoon anymore), or any other interesting places and countries, be it expensively near or enchantingly exotic.

I want to go to Manua Kea, Hawaii.

My motivation? this picture over here. You’ll see why. Hehehe

The summit of Mauna Kea has been a celestial observatory since ancient times, and is considered to be one of the best astronomical sites in the world.

Love is just like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

You think, judging all the opportunities and risks, very carefully
you evaluate what you want and what you need,
you try to look back what you’ve been through,
you build up your courage just to give the answer that he/she wants
just to go to the next level of relationship.

When in doubt, you can always call a good friend
or ask some people to get their opinion

When you have no one to ask,
you try to eliminate the impossible

and give your best shot.

entah pemikiran bodoh ini hanya muncul secara bodoh dan tiba-tiba,
atau memang saya sudah begitu skeptisnya dengan itu semua?
