“Di antara film yg akan diputar berjudul FUCKING DIFFERENT TEL AVIV produksi ISRAEL. Dari judul filmnya saja sudah jorok dan jijik, ditambah negara yang memproduksinya lebih menjijikkan lagi.”
so says FPI.
The third edition of the conceptual series “Fucking Different” (the first one was shot in Berlin and the second one in New York), is an anthology of shorts aiming to provide a crossover of diverse views of queer sexuality in contemporary Tel-Aviv, from the perspective of 12 gay and lesbian filmmakers.
As in the previous compilations, lesbian directors were asked to create short films depicting their ideas of gay male sexuality and eroticism, and in turn, gay filmmakers were to describe love and sex between women.
so says Kristian Petersen, the man behind the project.
i’m not a fan of the second one (i only found it interesting), but you know what?
i choose clear and well-thought words instead of bigotry at any day.
here’s Indonesia’s moslem, stuck between those radical, sword-wielding religious police and equally insensitive “liberals”.
where are those who teach wisdom and tolerance, who respected and listened by most if not all?
